Eli Rose

Eli Rose was born more than once. First as a singer-songwriter (Eli et Papillon), and then through writing. In her new project, the singer forges a new artistic identity for herself with the help of other like-minded musical allies. Accumulating 10 years of experimentation, Eli Rose has surrounded herself with renowned collaborators such as Ruffsound (Koriass, Loud, Zaho), DRMS (Ariane Moffat, Fanny Bloom), Realmind (Loud, Allie X), June Nawakii (Nicki Minaj), Billboard (Britney Spears, Shakira) and Mike Clay (Robotaki, Clay and Friends) to create an addictive urban pop music with strong American influences. In the studio, the surprising combination of her angelical voice over urban and electronica beats
produces a very contemporary sound rarely heard in francophone pop. Channelling both Taylor Swift's tonality and Christine and the Queens' energy, Eli Rose creates an urban pop without shying away from a little intimacy.

In 2016, she took part in Kenekt, the SOCAN's noted songwriting camp. There, she began professional relationships with Mike Clay, Ruffsound and June Nawakii whose rap and beat making totally enthralled her. A year later, Eli Rose put out a single, Soleil, which became the starting point of her new creative endeavour. Her independently produced song propelled her in the BDS top 10 and instantly made her a young talent to look out for. Now that she's caught the attention of listeners on both sides of the Atlantic, it's time to join the big leagues. In her next LP, which will be out on Universal in 2019, colourful Eli Rose promises to live it up and, above all, to remain as unique as ever.
