Possessing a rare blend of artistic passion, creativity and business savvy, Gilles Paquin has been involved with the North American arts and entertainment industry for over 30 years as a manager, promoter, producer and entrepreneur.
He is the President and CEO of Paquin Entertainment Group, which encompasses four divisions: artist management, talent agency, theatre & film and corporate services. Today, Gilles personally manages legendary icons Randy Bachman, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Bachman & Turner and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Del Barber. He supports, oversees, and directs each artist's creative ventures, which includes producing a bio-documentary for Buffy Sainte-Marie, in-studio concert special with Bachman-Cummings called First Time Around and a live concert special/3D production shot at the Roseland Ballroom in New York for Bachman & Turner.
Gilles founded the agency division in 1985. It has since become one of Canada's premier entertainment agencies, representing a roster of international clientele that includes musicians, such as Serena Ryder, The Sheepdogs, Whitehorse and K'NAAN, along with ballet and theatrical companies. In 2004, he launched a theatrical subsidiary, Koba Entertainment, focusing on large-scale family-oriented productions, such as Dora the Explorer, The Backyardigans, Toopy and Binoo, and Franklin the Turtle, among others.
Always looking for his next entrepreneurial endeavor, Gilles recently spearheaded Act 5 Entertainment, which involves the management of an array of entertainment projects including live theatricals, exhibitions, and merchandising opportunities. Selected Act 5 productions include: Scooby-Doo Live! Musical Mysteries, 50 Shades! The Musical Parody of 50 Shades of Grey, and a theatrical version of Degrassi, to name a few.
Gilles also co-founded the Venue Coalition, representing a network of 55 premier North American arenas. He recently sold his share of the company, but still works as an advisor.
As a producer of film, television and theatre, he continues to work on select projects, and has a slate of exciting works that are currently in development, including a feature-length film of Moulin Rouge® – the Ballet, starring Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

Patti Caplette is a director/choreographer of ballet and contemporary dance and conceptual visionary for concert stages, theatre, film and television.
She danced professionally with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. Noted for her versatility and theatricality, Patti danced soloist and principal roles in works by world-renowned choreographers such as Balanchine, Bejart, Kylian, van Manen, Tudor, Christie, and Limon.
Between 1973 and 1993 she travelled the globe, performing in more than 400 cities in 19 countries including United States, Canada, England, France, Russia, Japan, Egypt, Mexico, and starred in numerous ground-breaking productions by international choreographers. Highlights include: an international tour of The Who's seminal rock opera ballet, Tommy; Stravinsky's Firebird at the Herod Atticus theatre in Athens, Greece; Peter Wright's Giselle in Tokyo, Japan, and Van Danzig's Romeo and Juliet at the famed Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her love of dance and film was whetted whilst starring in Agnes de Milne's Fall River Legend, and Brian MacDonald's Tam Di Delam.
Following her stage career, Patti became an award-winning choreographer, creating original works for dance companies, opera, theatre, television, national award shows – including working with numerous stars in the Canadian music and musical theatre industries – the symphony and even the circus! Her credits include the Pan-American Games, The Juno Awards Gala, Her Majesty the Queen's Royal Visit to Winnipeg, "The World Needs More Canada" for the federal Government of Canada's tour of Los Angeles, Chicago and New York, and "Opening Night," an original evening of musical theatre that starred Michael Burgess (Les Miserable), Ma Anne Dionisio (Ms. Saigon), Tyley Ross (West Side Story) and Melissa Thompson (Beauty and the Beast).
She has also worked on a number of projects in the tele-visual field, including the original dance drama Journey – A Mythical Dance Fantasy for BRAVO! Television, which starred prima ballerina Evelyn Hart, and won a Blizzard Award for Best Performing Arts Film and a Gemini Award for Best Production Design. Other credits include: Autumn Lady for Global Television, which took home the bronze medal at the New York International Film and Television Festival, and the CBC's "Canada Day" Indigenous Peoples Tribute on Parliament Hill starring singer Tom Jackson and actor Graeme Green. Additionally, actor/dancer couple Patrick Swayze and Lisa Niemi recruited Patti to take on the role of dance coach for the feature dance film Without a Word.
Her undeniable talent for translating a creative vision to stage was of invaluable use on the recent feature film production of Moulin Rouge ® – the Ballet, starring Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, where she acted as creative producer.
As artistic director of Koba Entertainment, Patti continues to deliver unparalleled productions through personalized attention to detail, overseeing all aspects of creative direction, choreography, script writing, set, costume and lighting design and assembling quality teams for every project. Koba Entertainment's touring shows feature much-loved characters from children's literature and television including The Backyardigans, Dora the Explorer,Toopy and Binoo and Franklin the Turtle.
Patti builds shows that are cohesive, consistent and, above all, excellent entertainment for some of the toughest audiences in the world.
Raised in an environment infused with music, creativity and entrepreneurial values, Julien Paquin displayed an inherent wisdom for the live entertainment business from an early age. In 1993, he joined his father Gilles as an agent at Paquin Entertainment Group. Julien's instinctive knack for discovering new artists has helped shape Paquin Artists Agency into an industry leader, cementing his reputation as one of the premier agents in Canada.
Under his direction as President of Paquin Artists Agency, the company's roster has steadily grown to over 150 acts spanning a broad spectrum of musical styles. Julien represents such notable artists as Randy Bachman, The Sheepdogs, Serena Ryder, Old Crow Medicine Show, Coeur de Pirate, Josh Ritter and K'NAAN. The diversity of these acts reflects his vision for the Artists Agency: a people-oriented organization, providing distinguished service to its artists and thereby fostering their careers.
Julien currently serves on the boards of the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS), an organization whose main focus is the exploration and development of opportunities to showcase and promote Canadian artists and music; the Unison Benevolent Fund, an assistance program for music industry personnel; and the Canadian Arts Presenting Association (CAPACOA), a national arts service organization for Canada's presenting and touring sector.
Julien's contribution to the industry continues to be widespread; he has been recognized as "Agent of the Year" at CAPACOA and at six Canadian Country Music Awards.
Todd Jordan is Vice President of Paquin Artists Agency. Joining the team in 2001, Todd has represented a diverse roster of artists, including iconic performer Buffy Sainte-Marie, award-winning country act Corb Lund, world-music titans Afro Celt Sound System, and prestigious dance company, Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet, among many others.
Todd has been an integral part in establishing Paquin Artists Agency's reputation as a premiere booking agency, representing over 150 acts globally. Under the direction of Todd and President Julien Paquin, Paquin Artists Agency has been honoured as Agency of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards for 11 years in a row. Todd has also received three nominations for Agent of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Association Awards.
Among his many accomplishments, Todd has worked to develop and expand Paquin Artists Agency's business ventures in Asia. Constantly travelling to countries around the world in pursuit of new talent, Todd has discovered and signed many ground-breaking world-music artists to tour in North America, such as Calypso Rose, LA-33, Dulsori, Manou Gallo, Peatbog Faeries, and more.
Todd has also lent his expertise to Manitoba's music community, sitting on the Manitoba Music Board from 2006 to 2012.
Michelle Szeto got her first taste of the entertainment industry at an early age in her hometown of Hong Kong, working in concert production for international superstars such as Oasis, Celine Dion, Boyz II Men, Sean Lennon and Prodigy.
Since joining Paquin Entertainment Group over 15 years ago, Michelle has held various roles throughout the company including publicity, tour marketing and management.
Today, in her role as Vice President, Management Division, Michelle personally manages award-winning artists and songwriter: Donovan Woods, Wild Rivers, Logan Wall and Devan; continues to lead global marketing and press initiatives for management clients, including Buffy Sainte-Marie; and works alongside the Agency division in international talent acquisition and tour marketing support for its roster of artists.
Thomas Stokes is the Director of Finance of Paquin Entertainment Group. He joined the team in 2019 and oversees the financial reporting & analysis and human resource functions of the organization with overall responsibility for review and analysis of operations as well as potential business opportunities.
Tom is a finance and accounting professional with over 30 years of financial management experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He has a professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA) and holds business degrees from the University of Manitoba and Dalhousie University.
Tom begin his career in 1985 as a commercial lending officer with the Bank of Nova Scotia. He served as Secretary-Treasurer with the Turtle Mountain School Division and Business Manager for the Victorian Order of Nurses during the 1990s. He has worked as an analyst in the budget offices of both the Province of Manitoba (Treasury Board Secretariat) and the City of Winnipeg. He also served as Treasury Manager for New Flyer Industries. During 12 years prior to coming to Paquin Entertainment, Tom worked for Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation, most recently fulfilling the role of Director, Strategy, Planning & Analysis.
Throughout his career, Tom has focused on effective communication of information key to business decision making, sound strategy development, and leadership through inspiration and guidance.
